What works on a local SIM, and what does not
On a China Mobile SIM, WeChat and Alipay work. Google, WhatsApp, Instagram and Gmail do not, and the VPN you installed for them is unreliable. On DRACIX all of them open on one connection.
How it works
Your phone joins China Mobile, Unicom or Telecom like any local SIM. The traffic leaves China on a private line and comes out in London. There is no VPN for the firewall to block.
Three networks, no choosing.
Weak signal on one, we move you to another. You never open Settings.
Sites think you're in the UK.
Same Google results, same app store, same bank login checks as at home.
When the day's data runs out.
You slow down to 5 Mbps on Standard, 10 on Pro. Enough for maps, messages and calling a taxi.
Download speeds from real trips. More on the speed tests page.
What you get after the daily allowance
Everyone sells "unlimited". Airalo and Saily publish the throttle, three GB a day then 1 Mbps, in a policy page you have to go looking for. Holafly and RedTeaGo don't publish one at all. Ours is on the plan tile, next to the price: 1 GB a day, then 5 Mbps.
